Hi, I’m Alessandra, the founder of Healers Near Me.
I’m Italian, though I’ve called the UK home for more than 10 years now. Holistic healing has been part of my life for a long time, but it properly took hold when I trained as a Reiki Master. I was drawn to how quietly powerful it is. It’s genuinely changed how I move through the world, and that pulled me further into exploring other practices: hypnotherapy, acupuncture, EFT, Transformational Breath®, Thai massage, and more. Every one of them taught me something different, and I loved discovering what each had to offer.
What I kept running into, though, was how inconsistent it was to actually find the right practitioner. Searching online rarely showed me what I was actually looking for. Results were cluttered, generic, or dominated by big directories that buried the independent practitioners doing genuinely good work.
Alongside my interest in holistic health, I have a background in accounting, and I’ve spent time building websites and small e-commerce projects on the side. Healers Near Me is where those two sides of me meet: a directory built with care, designed to help people find practitioners who actually match what they’re looking for, and to give practitioners, especially independent ones, a real way to be found by the people who need them.
